What is Lend Your Voice?

Lend Your Voice is a national campaign inspired by the power of John's voice and the thousands of Australians affected by head and neck cancer. By leaving a message, sharing the campaign and making a donation if you choose, you can help raise awareness and support people impacted by the disease.

Why are you asking people to "Lend Their Voice"?

John Farnham's voice has touched millions of Australians. Lend Your Voice invites people to use their own voice to show support for those affected by head and neck cancer and help raise awareness of a disease that too often goes unheard.

Do I need a concert ticket to take part?

No. Anyone, anywhere in Australia, can leave a message and be part of the Lend Your Voice campaign.

Do I have to donate to leave a message?

No. Anyone can leave a message on the Lend Your Voice Wall for free.

What should I say in my message?

Share a message for John Farnham, someone affected by head and neck cancer, a loved one, or simply words of support, hope and encouragement.

Can I leave a message anonymously?

Yes. You can choose whether your name is displayed alongside your message.

Will my message be public?

Yes. Messages may be displayed on the Lend Your Voice Wall and other campaign materials. All messages will be reviewed before publication.

Do I have to donate to enter the prize draw?

No. Simply leaving a message on the Lend Your Voice Wall automatically enters you into the prize draws.

Does making a donation give me a better chance of winning?

No. Everyone receives one entry and has an equal chance of winning, regardless of whether they donate or how much they choose to donate.

What can I win?

Why is HANCA the charity beneficiary of the concert?

HANCA is incredibly grateful to be the charity beneficiary of The Songs of John Farnham: The Celebration Concert. Following John's own experience with head and neck cancer, the concert provides a powerful opportunity to raise awareness of a disease that affects thousands of Australians every year and can impact a person's ability to speak, eat, swallow and connect with others. It is also an opportunity to honour the experiences of patients and families while supporting HANCA's work across Australia.

Donations support Head and Neck Cancer Australia's work providing free support, information, education, awareness and advocacy for people affected by head and neck cancer across Australia.

Yes. Donations of $2 or more to Head and Neck Cancer Australia are tax deductible in Australia.
