About Us
Head and Neck Cancer Australia is the only national charity dedicated to supporting people affected by Head and Neck Cancer.
For many the impact on everyday life can be profound, for both the person diagnosed and those caring for them. People need somewhere to turn for trusted information, someone who understands what they are facing, and support as they adjust to life during and after treatment.
We provide free access to specialist nurses, counselling support and trusted information when patients and families need it most.
Launched in 2016, what began as a small charity has grown into a national organisation supporting over 5,600 Australians diagnosed each year and 18,000 living with its long term impacts.
Today, we work alongside patients, carers, healthcare professionals, researchers and policymakers to improve outcomes and ensure the voices of people affected by Head and Neck Cancer are heard.
Everything we do is driven by the voices of our community and the belief that together, we can create meaningful change.

What is the Lend Your Voice?
Lend Your Voice is Head and Neck Cancer Australia’s awareness and fundraising campaign. We're aiming to raise $1 million to support people affected by Head and Neck Cancer. The generous contribution associated with the John Farnham Celebration Concert, together with direct campaign donations, will help us work towards our goal over the next 12 months. We welcome individual donations, community fundraising and business support.
Who is Head and Neck Cancer Australia?
We are Australia’s only national charity dedicated to education, support and advocacy for people affected by head and neck cancer, including oral and throat cancer. We support patients, families, carers and health professionals.
Why is this campaign needed?
More than 5,600 Australians are diagnosed with head and neck cancer every year, and around 18,000 are living with its long-term impacts. It can change how a person speaks, eats, breathes and looks, with lasting effects for patients and families. Your support helps people access information and care when they need it.
How will my donation help?
Your donation will help us provide free access to specialist nurses, counselling and trusted information. It will also strengthen our advocacy for earlier diagnosis, better care and improved outcomes.
How is the concert supporting the campaign?

Absolutely! The concert is just the beginning. Lend Your Voice will run for 12 months, with plenty of opportunities to donate, fundraise and get involved. Your ongoing support will help us make a difference for patients and families.
